~Today is Thursday May 14, 2026, Day 1
~Block rotation: Advisory, A, B, E, C, D, F, G
~Lunch: 6, 8, 7
The first day of Math MCAS is this morning. At this time, all students should be in Advisory. If you are not, you can move to the right location after I’ve completed these morning announcements. The testing period will last from approximately 7:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Students should be logging in no later than 8:00 am. Bells will be turned off all day and the periods will be called over the PA system. During the testing, no iPads should be used outside of the test itself. If leaving the classroom is necessary, teachers should highly monitor the reasons and timing. Also, only one person should be out of the room at any given time. As always, students should not be using this time to socialize when outside of class.
For tonight, please remember to fully charge your iPads for tomorrow’s test. Teachers, no homework should be assigned due tomorrow, and there should be no tests or quizzes. Finally, MCAS is used to support individual growth and school improvement. Please do your very best on both test sessions. Good luck!ÌýÌýÌý
Tonight is the night! The spring playÌýWhat You See and What You Don’tÌýopens tonight. Come to the WMS Auditorium tonight, at 7:00 pm, or same time tomorrow to see this incredible, cast-written, free production. Break a leg to the cast and crew!
The bus to Boston will leave at 3:30 today. ÌýThe late bus in ÎÞ¾¡×ÊÔ´²É¼¯ also leaves at 3:30. All students need to listen for the PA announcements for their departure from WMS.
Have a good day everyone!
Please note that the daily announcements are sometimes subject to change during the school day. When this happens the announcements will be updated on the website and on the video screen in the WMS lobby, but a new email will not be sent.
