Happy Halloween! I know there was a great deal of student energy around the district today in anticipation of trick-or-treating tonight.?(I¡¯m glad a night of candy consumption will be followed by two weekend days!)?

With the prospect of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits ending today, WPS is coordinating with the Town of ÎÞ¾¡×ÊÔ´²É¼¯ to publicize a we can share with families later today.?I appreciate everyone¡¯s vigilance, responsiveness and discretion as we become aware of members of our community who may be impacted by these developments and whom we can help with targeted support.?

A special thanks to all of our staff and parent volunteers who helped make our Middle School Fall Dance and WHS ÎÞ¾¡×ÊÔ´²É¼¯coming Weekend such a great success last weekend.??

Finally, don¡¯t forget to turn your clocks back one hour on Sunday as daylight savings time ends this weekend.

One more week to complete both the ArxEd/Litix HR training and the CyberSecurity/KnowBe4 training. Both are due by October 31.

The??must be submitted by November 1st to indicate an intent to change lanes at the start of the following school year. You will receive a notification confirming the submission of your form. Please keep this for your records. The list does not carry over from year to year, so you must submit a new intention form each year until you successfully change lanes.

The WHS Child Lab is now accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year. Children who will be three years old or four years old by September 1st, 2026 are eligible to apply.
