{"id":2635,"date":"2019-10-21T10:23:15","date_gmt":"2019-10-21T14:23:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wellesleyps.org\/whs\/?page_id=2635"},"modified":"2021-03-03T16:13:46","modified_gmt":"2021-03-03T21:13:46","slug":"website-guidelines","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wellesleyps.org\/whs\/senior-projects\/video-art-drama-guidelines\/website-guidelines\/","title":{"rendered":"Website Guidelines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If a Senior Project includes the creation of a website or the linking of a website to the 无尽资源采集 High School website, the finished website must meet all of the following requirements. <strong>A project cannot be accepted as a complete project until accessibility requirements have been met:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meet ADA Accessibility Requirements:\n<ul>\n<li>Colors &#8211; There should be adequate color contrast between background and text &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/webaim.org\/resources\/contrastchecker\/\">Contrast Checker<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Fonts &#8211; Should be simple and easy to read<\/li>\n<li>Text &#8211; Should be displayed as plain text, not embedded in images\/graphics<\/li>\n<li>Images &#8211; All images must have &#8220;alt&#8221; text, unless they are purely decorative<\/li>\n<li>Videos &#8211; All videos must have closed captions &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1cL7ytAb7ABeymFY1RFrFZ3QRDzFiQB2i8JWzLFz92-Y\/preview\">How to Add Closed Captions<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Translation-Friendliness &#8211; text should be displayed as plain text, not embedded in images\/graphics, so that it works with automatic translators, such as Google translate<\/li>\n<li>Mobile-Friendliness &#8211; the website should automatically resize itself depending on the size of the screen the viewer is using (phone, tablet, laptop, etc.).
