The post Create and Work with Multiple Page Orientations in Google Docs first appeared on Technology Department.]]> Google has made it easier to create and work with documents that require multiple page orientations in Google Docs.
Starting as soon as December 10, 2020, you will be able to change the page orientation on a per-section basis in a Google doc. This will allow you to make room for wider content such as tables and images that can benefit from extra horizontal space. You’ll also be able to edit, import, and export Microsoft Word documents that contain both portrait and landscape oriented pages.

This will provide customization of individual words, paragraphs, pages, and sections within your sites.
In 2021, Google will add the ability to create themes, which will allow you to easily set fonts, colors, and styles across your whole site. We’ll keep you updated when we learn that’s available.

Google Workspace has made it easier to manage the access requests you may receive by allowing you to respond to requests within Gmail. Now you can review the request, choose the access level (i.e. edit, comment or view) and grant access directly from the request email. Previously you had to open the file to adjust these permissions. These emails will make it quicker and easier to manage these requests and adjust sharing permissions. The GIF below demonstrates how this update works.
