Effective July 1, 2013, Massachusetts law requires all school employees \u2014 including teachers, administrators, substitutes, coaches, bus drivers, food service staff, and all others who may have direct and unmonitored contact with children \u2014 to undergo a national criminal background check through fingerprinting. Prior to starting in any prospective employment\/volunteer position, the Human Resources Department will need to receive suitable fingerprinting results and provide notice of clearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please read through this information thoroughly before you register for an appointment to have your fingerprints taken. If you have already completed fingerprinting in another Massachusetts public school district within the last seven years, you can request that a letter of suitability be forwarded from that district\u2019s HR Department directly to <\/strong>askhr@wellesleyps.org<\/strong><\/a>. If this is not applicable, please follow the steps below to complete the fingerprinting requirement. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
