Hello Hardy<\/p>\n
Highlights from the past week:<\/strong><\/p>\n On Friday, there was a Kindergarten book store, which served as a celebration of Kindergarten writing. <\/p>\n Spirit Week<\/strong><\/p>\n During the week of December 16th-20th, we will have a spirit day each day of the week. The plan will be as follows:<\/p>\n Monday, Dec. 16th- mismatched day<\/strong> (students wear mismatched clothing- spots\/polka dots, mismatched socks etc.)<\/p>\n Tuesday, Dec. 17th- stuffed animal day<\/strong> (students bring stuffed animals to school)<\/p>\n Wednesday, Dec. 18th- crazy hat da<\/strong>y (students wear crazy hats to school)<\/p>\n Thursday, Dec. 19th- Pajama Day<\/strong> (students wear PJs to school)<\/p>\n Friday, Dec. 20th- Hardy Spirit Day<\/strong> (students wear Hardy spirit gear or red\/black colored clothing to school)<\/p>\n We look forward to a fun week going into the winter break!<\/p>\n December Dash – Walk and Roll to School Day<\/strong><\/p>\n On Wednesday, we will have the December Dash Walk & Roll to School Day. Students are encouraged to walk or roll to school. Thanks to Mr. Guzzi for planning this event for our school!<\/p>\n Staffing Update<\/strong><\/p>\n I am pleased to welcome Ms. Bridget Fleming as a new special education teacher\/BCBA in our Skills program who will be supporting some of our K-1 students. Ms. Fleming is a 无尽资源采集 native who most recently served as a special education teacher in the Burlington Public Schools. She earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in special education from Simmons University and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) as well. Please join me in welcoming Ms. Fleming to Hardy!<\/p>\n Grab & Go Breakfast for Students<\/strong><\/p>\n Beginning on Tuesday, January 7, 无尽资源采集 will offer boxed breakfast options daily to all students starting at 8:15 a.m.<\/p>\n Breakfast options are free and students do not need to sign up ahead of time. Each day will include one main breakfast item and one gluten-free option. Please see the January breakfast menu<\/a> (it reads Bates, but it\u2019s the same menu for all schools) from Whitsons (it can also be found on the Whitsons Meal Planner site<\/a>).<\/p>\n Students should pick up their breakfasts in the cafeteria at arrival (between 8:15- 8:30 AM) and then they will bring the breakfasts to their classrooms to eat.<\/p>\n Reminder for Parents\/Guardians of Students Performing in the Holiday Concert<\/strong><\/p>\n This Friday at 8:45 AM we will have our annual holiday concert. This will be by our 5th grade chorus and our instrumental music students.
