Please note that there is no school on Friday, April 18 in observance of Good Friday.  April break is Monday, April 21-25.  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Thank you Erin Bryan, Marie Gipson, Erin Hontvet, Mitali Bixby, Olga Shurchkov, Jill Hegstad, Jackie Taslim,  Julie Krathen and all the committee members for organizing the Palm Paradise Fundraiser for our school. It was a wonderful evening to support our school.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Thank you to Julie Krathen, Mary Ann Fanning and Carolyn Price for arranging for the Bionic Project to come to our school this past week. The Fiske Falcons came together as a school to hear the life stories of amputee soccer players Nico and Javon.  Ally Dana led a discussion around the difference between sympathy and empathy. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Individual classes later  had the opportunity to meet with the Bionic Team to learn more about adaptive sports and inclusive behaviors.  The overall message was focused on  the goal of working together and building a world that is accessible to all.  Take some time over vacation  to talk with your children about what they learned from our presenters.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
